Seeking 1-2 BE/BC Pediatricians in Central Eastern Maine on the New Brunswick border. Hospital serves the needs of approximately 17,000 people in a wide geographic area, bordered by New Brunswick, Canada to the East, and is the largest employer in the area. Group is open to various scheduling options: 1 full-time Pediatrician; 2 full-time Pediatricians to take share of call; 2 Pediatricians that would job share - each working 2 weeks opposite the other, with group supplementing with locum coverage if needed; 1 part-time Pediatrician. This provider will be joining another P ediatrician and NP. The providers typically see 12 to 16 patients daily. More, if desired. No weekend clinic hours Providers have control over their schedule such as time allotted for patients, where you may want to put in a sick call, etc. Full time: work a 4 day week in the office. Hospital owned practice. The providers also are responsible for the newborn nursery. Hospital delivers approximately 100 babies annually and Pediatricians only need to be in attendance at delivery for anything high risk or after hour C-Sections to receive the babies. Historically we have had less than 10 pediatric patients admitted annually and then typically for dehydration or some asthma management.
